Brainstorm Electronics 2 Year Limited Warranty
Brainstorm Electronics products are warranted to be free of defects in material and manufacture for a period of 24 months, beginning on the date of purchase from an authorized Brainstorm reseller.
The following are excluded from warranty:
- Units that have been serviced by non-authorized personnel,
- Units with missing or defaced serial numbers,
- Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or environmental factors,
- Damage occurring during shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier by the purchaser).
Prior to returning a unit for warranty service, the customer must contact their place of purchase to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from plus24. All service requests must process through the point of purchase in the country where purchased. The RMA does not represent any acknowledgment by Brainstorm Electronics that the defect is covered by the warranty as that will be determined after the product has been received and evaluated. In every case, a copy of the original purchase invoice will be required to establish the expiration date of the warranty.
All products sent to Brainstorm Electronics for servicing – regardless of whether or not it is covered by warranty – require an RMA. Without it shipments will be refused and returned to the sender at their own expense.
After receiving an RMA, the customer must send the unit, freight pre-paid and in suitable packaging, to Brainstorm Electronics, or to the
return address specified on the RMA, such as an authorized Brainstorm Electronics warranty repair facility. If it is determined the defect is
covered by the warranty, the unit will be repaired (or replaced at the manufacturer’s option) and returned free of charge to the customer by ground freight.
This limited warranty is offered solely to products purchased from an Authorized Brainstorm Electronics Reseller.
This warranty is void if Brainstorm Electronics determines the defect to be the result of abuse, neglect, alteration or attempted repair by unauthorized personnel.
The buyer acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall Brainstorm Electronics be held liable for any damages, loss or or injury that may result from this product failing to operate correctly at any time.
This warranty may be subject to other conditions as dictated by the customer’s legal warranty rights under the applicable national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods.
