VSG-4 Video Sync Generator Card
Low jitter HD and SD video sync card for the DCD-8
The VSG-4 generates analog tri-level and bi-level sync signals for HD and SD video applications. It is designed as an option for the Brainstorm DCD-8 Word Clock Distripalyzer.
Note: The DCD-8 is now discontinued.

FAQs
Can the VSG-4 generate several Video Sync rates and formats simultaneously?
Yes. The VSG-4 can generate up to four different formats and rates at the same time, one for each output. Menu 53 sets the format of the 2 HD Video outputs; menu 54 sets the format of the 2 SD Video outputs.
How can I see which format and rate is sent to which output?
The DCD-8 front panel includes 10 LED’s for the VID SYNC GEN. However, that is not enough to describe all the 31 different formats. The 6 HD LED’s only indicate the frame rate; the 4 SD LED’s indicate the SD format. For complete format and rate information on the HD outputs, call up menu 53 on the LCD display; for the SD outputs, call up menu 54.
